I have decided to get dbmg to convert an ar-10 barrel for use in my lmt mws, but I can't seem to get whole of them.

Have any of you recently had work done by dbmg?

I've called several times without answer and left a message with out a call back. I can't get an email through in the contact us portion of the website so I am at a loss as to how I should contact them. Any of you have a direct email address?

I hope they are still doing work because I really want to get something going.

Re: Dbmg barrel conversions

Jasonusvi got some work done in a reasonable turn over time....outside of his experience, I've yet to hear any other reviews that left me with any confidence in dealing with DBMG.

This thread might help you, and I'm pals with member bluebear in it, who got the run around big time from DBMG. Bluebear is a really classy and easy guy to deal with as well. He's not the unreasonable type of dude.

That said, I just heard pretty awesome news on this front from another machinist who does world class work. The only problem is that he talents are always in high demand...but at least your told up front what to expect.

Send me a PM if you don't know who Marvin Pitts is, and if you do.. just shoot him an email requesting a MWS/MRP conversion.

Re: Dbmg barrel conversions

I tried multiple times to get in touch with DBMG a month or so ago, phone and e-mail, no replies. I even started a thread here asking if anyone had recent contact, no replies.

I had a really nice (and expensive) Satern 6.5 Grendel barrel I wanted for my MRP.
Decided I didn't want to send it to DBMG into a black hole and hope I got it back in a few months.

I built a complete upper instead.

If I had gotten a reply from them I'd have sent the barrel and waited, but they couldn't even send me an e-mail.

Re: Dbmg barrel conversions

I need advice, I bought a MRP conversion with without knowing about the "BlackHole". I sent the barrel and the charges went through on the master card for the work however, nothing has happened on their end. Should I protest it on the credit card and write the barrel off or wait to see if they actually perform the service described. Its been a month since I shipped to them. I've Called them nearly day and sent multiple emails. Thanks
