For those of you that have DCLW tripods.....
The legs have a solid aluminum 6061 inset with teeth cut in the leading edge of the legs for support. Also attached to the leg is a swivel footing that will soon accommodate Claw footings.
You most likely already know that.
I was tinkering around the other day and tried this very inexpensive footing out.
About as simple as it gets. A 7/8" rubber furniture footing so the tripod won't slip on hard surfaces.
Remove the swivel foot by unscrewing the bolt holding it on and slip these on.
I got a couple from the hardware store for a couple of bucks.
I will have Claw footings and other items available for the tripods soon.
Thanks,
