DD Delta 5 Opinions

Prices have fallen below $1500. Am I better off with a Tikka or Bergara Pro in that price range? Very few reviews from anyone not getting paid by DD that I can find. I was reading another thread about the $1500 rifle opinions, but didnt want to hijack the thread to ask. .308 is what Im looking at.

Go with something you know that works and has aftermarket parts; or a rifle that failed the first time and be a beta tester. The choice is yours.

Tikka all day vs a DD

Grab a Bergara B14 HMR. They're good guns. The only DD Delta 5 rifle I've handled was very disappointing. The action was super gritty. I didn't get to fire it dry or otherwise however so I can't make a judgement call on the trigger and accuracy.

Tac A1's are also great turn key guns. Great trigger, smooth action, and the chassis works great. They use a cold hammer forged barrel, so they're notoriously slow on velocity which may or may not be a problem for you.

Bergara’s shoot that’s for sure.

Never heard a good thing about the DD which is a shame, it had potential.

Saw it at SHOT when they released it. I was not impressed...
