I have 4000 5.56 LC brass. I have already broke 2 decapping pins and had multiple issues de-priming them. What should I be using to do this besides std dies? I have the RCBS attatchment for the case prep center and a table mounted swager to take care of the crimp if I can ever get them all de-primed. Thanks! krw

Is it the crimped in primers breaking the pins or something else? Maybe off center flash holes?

Lee makes a base and pin that you tap w/ a hammer. It's inexpensive and works, but slow.

I've done probably close to 4K of them myself and never had a problem everything I've ever read or understood was that getting the primer out isn't the problem it's getting a new one in that's why you swag the pockets. I've just used the regular cheap doe

Never had any issues with a Lee decapping die and Forster Co-Ax. If I feel resistance, I check it and typically it's an off center flash hole that goes in the scrap bucket, maybe 1/200 pieces.

The Lee Universal. Works like a charm and built like a tank. Haven't broke the pin yet and I'm pushing out crimped LC brass.
