Id say yes for the range but not for hunting/field work. An atlas bipod with the monopod at the rear is more portable and super stable for shooting prone. Like the concept though

I just can't see myself using something like this. It would be better to just have a rifle cradle at the top. Single point attachment would be better suited.

I would've loved to have had one a few years back. My brother was without the use of his left arm. I rigged up something similar so he could turkey hunt with me.

Not sure I'd want to lug one around, but I could see it would be useful for sage rats. Often we'll setup our benches in the morning and in the afternoon we will walk down the roads or fence lines and shoot them either offhand or resting on fence posts if they are available. Sometimes we'll end up in the middle of a field, I could see this being handy in this situation.

I think I'll just keep my PRS Tripods! I for one just don't see these units from Caldwell/Battenfeld being nearly as rugged or functional as my tripods. And...let's face it...99% of the Caldwell/Battenfeld/Tipton/etc. products are usually NOT of the highest quality/durability.

Just my $0.02...YMMV!
