Is there a way to put a nice recoil pad on a McMillan A5 ? The A5 that I have comes with a few spacers for LOP adjustments, but I would like to find a nice recoil pad that fits right and has a little absorption to it? Just wondering if anyone has attempted this, or can steer me in the right direction.??

Thanks

I don't think anyone makes a pad that's A5 stock specific. McMillan uses Limbsaver Grind-to-fit pads and Pachmayr Decelerators. There may be an issue with screw spacing between the spacers and the pad, as already mentioned just give McMillan a call, they're great people to deal with ...

The 1/2" slip on limbsaver fits right onto a McM A-5. I took some of the LOP spacers out and slipped on the extra recoil pad instead. It works quite well.
