Decided to mod my 700 bolt knob

I don't have the fixture for turning the bolt handle on the lathe...so I cut off the existing knob and TIG welded a threaded stud to my handle, blended and polished it.

I then turned a 1.5" long knob on the lathe and knurled it

That's a damn nice job. I'd love to see it with the bolt in the gun.
