SO I have a dilemma, and I submit it to all of you. I have about 1500$ left on my project build budget. So far I have a remington 5R .300WM in a AICS with the versa pod. I'm waiting on my Leupold 6.5-20 ER/t M5. The choices are
A: send rifle to GAP have the "accuracy package" done to it and the action and barrel cerakoted, and a surefire break attached.

B: get the rifle cerakoted (stainless is a no-go) by a local guy and spend the remaining money on 2 CCP courses this spring and still have money left over for ammo for said courses.

Opinions?

Re: Decisions...decisions

spend the money on ammo and local matches and have it coated locally.

also you are right next to r-bros who are great riflesmiths that also do a damn good job and they also cerakote. talk to travis he will hook you up and he is in elma, wa.

Training is invaluable. You could look into the online training here on the Hide. It is pretty good. Not sure what the accuracy package costs, but that may leave you enough left over to get it and get some training.
