So I'm just looking for suggestions on what I should go with. I've settled on a Tikka T3. I'm looking for something I can go hunting with eventually. 6.5 Creedmoor. I started off with the idea of the TAC A1. Would love the rifle but I don't know how good that would be on hunting because of the weight. I'm not a big guy. 5'5 150lbs. I also REALLY like the Vortex Gen 2 Razor over the Gen 1. I started with a budget of about $2500 but the Gen 2 will make me go over that. Really eying the CTR now. But is the 24" worth the extra weight over the 20"? I know I won't ever go past 1000 yards with this gun. I'm also hearing Timney might release new triggers for the T3X at shot show this year. Which will make me choose the CTR over the TAC A1 for sure.
