defiance rebel vs nwactions ramrod vs stiller tac 30

I believe that the NW Action Works Ramrod is a rebranded Defiance. In some of the pictures on their website, you can see that the action pictured actually says "Rebel" on it. As far as which is "best" I don't know.

I like the options Defiance offers, so you can truly get the action YOU want, not somebody else's desired action. Another to look at may be the Deviant by Defiance. It has an integral 20 MOA picatinny rail and recoil lug.

Yeah i wan't some close up pictures but all they show is them on rifles with and without coating and I don't really need the extra stuff the confuse me but I'm thinking defiance because they look very well machined and look like they put pride into their work

I just looked at their rifles and looked at them closely and your right they do say rebel on them. ha thats funny it made me giggle a little and I'll go to their shop personally and look at the actions to see them for real

So, I took a couple screen shots of the full size images of NW Action Works site of the "Ramrod Tactical"

They say it's their Ramrod action. On the receivers, just in front of the ejection port, you can clearly see that it says "Rebel" and under that "Colombia Falls MT". I'm almost positive that Defiance manufactures the action for NW Action works, meaning that the Ramrod=Rebel. Six of one, half a dozen of the other. The machining on both will be equal. The Ramrod will have the features that NW Action Work spec'd. I don't know if that means it feed from AW mags or not, if it has the full length or recessed bolt face. It looks to have the Heavy Remington tang and the hybrid port, with a PTG Tactical bolt knob on it. As with anything though, I may be wrong.

Who is going to build your rifle? If it's NW Action Works, I'd go with what they recommend, so most likely the Ramrod.

There is no perfect action. Get what you want that way you will be satisfied. Custom actions are far superior than any factory action. One feature I
like on an action is a M-16 style extractor. Pinned recoil lugs vs integral lug doesn`t make hill of beans. Integral bases make an action stronger but
if the scope base is properly mounted there will be no issues.
