I used a Boyds once on a 22-250AI build on a Mauser and it worked out great. It was laminated wood and very nice. It bedded nice and was a very solid piece, and the price was cheap too. If you dont mind doing some work, Richards Microfit stocks turn out nice too... Look on midway or something and you will find lots of good stuff, look at the closeouts or discontinued stuff, sometimes you can get some really great deals. Good luck!
