Any one here own one? I purchased a 4.5-30 and have not mounted it yet. Glass looks clean, not sure about the eye box yet. Would like to get some opinions of those who have operated one.
Thanks

I was really interested in the DS till I saw the reticleI've got one, glass is nice, turrets are nice, love the tool less zero on the turrets.
I'm not keen on the reticle, the 1st Mil around the centre is annoying and considering it's the most used portion of the reticle a real turn off for me.
I wish the FOV was wider, it's not bad but not as good as other scopes.
I do find myself needing to dial down magnification to find targets more so than other scopes I've used.
TrueSeems to me, you would ask that question BEFORE you bought it.
It's a real shame they've done it the way it is as the rest of the scope is nice.I was really interested in the DS till I saw the reticle

Should have said I (and most people) have the LRD-1T, the DLR-1 is different in the centre and improves on all the complaints I have.I have the DLR1 retical and it reminds me of the MSR, I like it actually.
EDIT: To add I compared the sharpness in image to my SnB PM2 both at 25x, I actually found it to be easier to have a sharper image at infinity. Closer around 100 yards the SnB seemed just a smidge sharper, but for the money it's really darn impressive glass.
Ah good to know. Well, Im gonna get it out and put it through some paces, see how she tracks to 1000...?Should have said I (and most people) have the LRD-1T, the DLR-1 is different in the centre and improves on all the complaints I have.
If you don't need/want a tree reticle the DLR-1 is the better reticle in my opinion.
