Deprime before or after tumbling? (Newbie)

I have started my first reloading attempt and I deprimed first with a depriming die then cleaned with corn cob media. I have resized and trimmed. I have noticed quite a bit of the brass has some of the corn cob media in the primer pockets. Seems like the easiest way to get it out is to blow it out with compressed air, I assume that's fine? Do most clean then deprime to avoid this issue? I know depriming and resizing at the same time is an option but had planned to deprime beforehand. Thanks
