Desert tactical arms in Europe?

Hi sirs,
I'm new on the hide,its my first post.
I live in France and i 'm looking for a new rifle in 300 win mag.I'm keen on desert tactical arms thanks to this forum but i've never seen one .does someone export this rifle in Europe ?

Waffen Holthaus has imported a couple of DTA rifles to Germany, and he's the only dealer who has done so in Europe as far as I know. You may want to contact him for pricing and availability. The first batch took some considerable time though due to export formalities, maybe it'll be faster the second time around.

I will contact this company to see this rifle in reality
and it availability.
concerning the avability,it's not a problem as i will not have the budget before the end of 2011!
If it's too long i will buy it in the US and export it by myself.

I doubt that it's going to take <span style="font-style: italic">that</span> long the next time around, and I doubt even more that a private person could do the import faster than a dealer who has already dug himself through the paperwork before.

Anyway, he kept one of the rifles as his own, I've shot it (and handled them before in the US), and I like it very much. Great ergonomics and a very nice trigger, unfortunately out of my price range for now.
