I didnt take any pictures, but I managed to get a few hours at the range today with the SRS. The more I shoot this thing, the more impressed I am. I am slowly getting data for both the 308 and the 338LM conversions. It is a bit odd for me, but it is making sense.

The data is only worth so much, at least until I settle on a load for each round. I shot from 100 to 300 a good bit today, with both. I managed to get excellent groups with both barrels and a couple different loads with each. It seems to shoot every load well. At least the ones I have tried thus far.

The better groups were under 1.5" at 300 yards for 5 shots. But pretty much all of them were well under MOA. The thing that impressed me most was that after establishing a 100 yard zero with the 338, I quickly slapped the 308 on. Shot probably 30 rounds through it and the replaced the 338LM. I dont know if this will happen every time, but the POI did not change. Any.

I am going to load up some 250 Scenars with RL25 powder. Talking to Nick at DT, he says they shoot this load real well. I am hoping so, because I bought 500 250 Scenars and 5 lbs of RL 25. I hope to settle on a load soon, and then document the dope for each barrel.

Really am happy I went with this platform. Still amazed at how well such a compact rifle can shoot, and the ability to literally swap between barrels in around a minute, without rushing, is just awesome.

Not from today, but here are a couple pictures, in case some of you havent seen the SRS. This is with the 338LM conversion.
