I and my friend we are using a DB10 .308 semi-auto rifle and we have another POI on shooted distances and the rifles build are similar.

Diamondback DB10
18” SS fluted 1:10 .308 win.
175gr GGG Sierra HPBT bullet, same ammo lot

1st has Nord Arms compensator
2nd has M4-72 compensator

Ex:
DB10 (1st):
300: 1.5 MIL
600: 5.3 MIL
800: 9,0 MIL

DB10 (2nd):
300: 1.6 MIL
600: 5.8 MIL
800: 9.8 MIL

MV:
2565 fps (1st rifle)
2465 fps (2nd rifle)

Does somebody know what makes this difference?

If both have a good zero then it’s just the difference in the barrel. That’s the variable.

No two guns are the same.

That's why I always laugh when people start threads asking for MV's for a given barrel length because they don't want to buy a chrono. It doesn't work that way.

On my rifle Labradar shows me a about 2656 fps mv, on the target truing on Kestrel shows about 2465 fps… and we don’t know where is a difference.. any idea?

We have true zero tested every time, first cold shot is put of group but rest is about 0,5-0,7moa
