The Midas TAC is what I wanted but from what I can tell are only offered in milsFor what it’s worth I have a Diamondback tactical and an Argos BTR. On paper the Diamondback may look better but the Athlon is a nicer scope in my opinion. Honestly you may want to consider adding a little to your budget and getting an Athlon Midas Tac which is in a whole different league. Give Doug at Camera Land a call and he will take great care of you. You may also have a hard time finding the 6-24 Vortex. I don’t know if they are back in stock now but they were sold out everywhere for awhile.
There’s no parallax adjustment on the one I handledThe 4-16 is going to look better(lower mag) and has more internal elevation and is $50 cheaper.
Buy all my moa stuff and I’ll switch.... ?Mils is life...come on in and join the team for the big win.
We have reduced the Midas BTR 2.5-15x50 to only $299.99, through the holidays.I bought one of the Diamondback tactical In 4-16 mil/mi configuration. I really wanted to like the scope because I really like Vortex but it just doesn’t impress me. The glass is okay but I think the Athlon is better. Where it really falls short is the turrets though. They are really mushy. The Midas TAC will be my next optic but I am a Mils guy. If you can go with a SFP you could look at the Athlon Midas BTR. Camera land has them for $339 which is a killer deal.
The 4-16 diamondback tactical has parallax adjustment, or at least the one I own, and every one I have seen. If your interested in a 4-16 mil, make me an offer. I've been meaning to list it, but haven't got around to it.There’s no parallax adjustment on the one I handled
