Did the TRG-42 300WM magazine design change?

I recently got a 2019 produced TRG-42 in 300WM and wanted to grab a couple of spare magazines.

They both still hold 7rds, however, the new magazine is 1/2” taller.

Yes. Detachable floor plate and wire spring replacing the old leaf spring design.

Interesting...I didn't realize that. I'm guessing they did that when they released the A1?

I also noticed the follower is now a machined Delrin (?) part rather than being injection molded which I found interesting.

I'm not sure when the design changed, maybe around the same time they started manufacturing the Tikka TAC mags?
