Did this guy just say

Likely FTFT: Failure To Follow the Teleprompter. His "Written" remarks say this: "Every day since I was Vice President, I’ve carried with me a card with the exact number of troops killed in our operations in Afghanistan and Iraq — not an approximation or a rounded number; an accounting of every life laid down for our country over the 20 years of war.

Today, it’s 7,036 military members — fallen angels — have given the “last full measure of devotion,” as Lincoln termed it, in those modern conflicts." (DOD site says 7057 as of May 24 - maybe he grabbed the wrong card today?).

I didn't hear his actual speech but judging from the reaction here it would appear he might have deviated from the original prepared remarks. Go figure.

Blame for missing the previous 1.2 million deaths likely starts with the millennial speech writer. No sense of history outside his own experience . . .

Why do they use Hollywood actors and actresses to tell the stories of the fallen and the heroes?
These self serving, selfish socialist Hollywood assholes cant hold a candle to the men and women who have served and sacrificed so much.

I don't know if those numbers are real, but it is what it is. Either the MSM will cover up anything he says that's not true or what he said is true and no further action is required.

This is what I found for numbers. Someone above said its 7057.
