I have a question on dies. I am wanting to get the forster ultra full length 2 die set. What i wanna know is what is the difference between the 308 win national match and the 308 win?
Thanks sorry if this is a dumb question i am new to rifle reloading.

Re: Die question

You really need to call Forster and ask one of their tech / engineering people that question.

Re: Die question

The National Match sizing die is intended for use with gas guns. From Forster's catalogue:

308 National match size cases .002" shorter than standard 308 dies

Re: Die question

Next thing is get a L.E. Wilson case gage for 308. Size your cases and drop them in Wilson gage and see if it is in "spec". If it goes in a Wilson gage it should work fine in any 308 you get.
