what dies are y'all having the best luck with? I have been using entry level Redding, RCBS, and Hornady die sets. I have been looking at Forster and Whidden. Any advice or input would be much appreciated.

Redding Type S FL die for sizing but sometimes I use it w/o bushing and expander in conjunction with the Lee Collet, when I don't need to full size or bump the shoulder back I use the Lee Collet die only. For seating Forster Micrometer seating die.

I'm an equal opportunity employer as my dies include Herters,RCBS,Bonanza, LE Wilson, Redding, Forster, Hornady, Dillon, Lee, and a few Homade. I am really liking the Lee ultimate sets. The $$ is right, their collets are excellent, and the quality is good. I definitely mix and match i.e. Lee collet, Forster micrometer seater.

I started with Hornady and they are ok but I'm slowly switching over to Forster. The micrometer Seating Forster die is top notch.

I really like my Whidden dies. I have a min chamber 6.5 CM and I use them to resize cases fired in my friend's 6.5 RPR - big bases to reduce. They work great. I use their non bushing expander mandrel type sizing die. It gives me perfect neck tension with less than .001 RO. Produces reloads that are incredibly accurate. I also have the Redding FL bushing and seater dies and they do just as well. I swap back and forth depending on the brass I'm using.
