Rifle Scopes Diff. between the Burris Tac-30 1-4, Mtac, & XTR?

So to me all these scopes look to be same, except that the price climbs with each model, with the XTR being more than 3X the cost of the TAC-30. Is there really a difference of $600+ between the 2? Also how does the Vortex HS and PS 1-4's stack up, and what is the difference between HS and PS? Thanks

Burris Tac-30 is basically the Fullfield II with a few gidgets added on.....not bad glass but not stellar.The XTR is their top of the line and has very clear optics and is just a tougher scope.Is it worth it?Many think so as do I, but it all depends on one's budget and how serious you are about this hobby.Especially in glass you get what you pay for, and if you'll only be plinking cans at 50 feet then a $300 scope will be plenty.If you're looking to knock steel at 1000 yds and need precise adjustments then that cheap scope will hinder you.
