Difference between CAN and SHOULDN'T

In light of some stupid things that were recently posted on this forum, and the generally stupid people that I meet on a day to day basis, I have decided to post a short PSC. Often I hear people say, or write, "I can say what I want, it's a free country". While this statement is true, it needs to be understood that while you CAN say whatever you want, there are consequences to statements made. I CAN walk into the local Walmart and begin to scream racial slurs, it is my right as an American. However, if I get the crap beat out of me, that serves as a reminder that although I CAN do this, I SHOULDN'T. You can put a gun to your head and pull the trigger to determine if it's loaded. You CAN, but you SHOULDN'T. I know that this will be lost on the general public, but I am hoping that it may cause people on this forum to think just a bit before shooting off at the key board. I do not want this to be taken as a play nice, or can't we all just hug, post. I just want people to take a minute and THINK about what you say. Alot has been made in the post about the kid in NY and the Leggo gun about a lack of common sense, that's all I am asking for. Statements that take three seconds to type can cause a great bit of heartburn and take a thread in a dirrection not intended by the OP.
Just my two cents, now flame me if you want.

That applys to most people but some should consider it.
