Thought I read somehwere previously there was a relationship between the two, but not really sure. Investing/upgrading some gear and was considering some of thier stuff, thoughts on the quality of the two?

I think you meant "Original SOE GEAR" and SOE GEAR. One is the original designer and the other is teh ex wife I believe.

Yeah that sounds right, my mistake. There are just many places selling gear now.
