Gunsmithing Difficult to remove 40x trigger adjustment screws

Hey guys, trying to back out the adjustment screws on my 40x trigger, and am finding that they are practically glued in place from the feel of things.

Currently I have some WD40 sitting on the screw heads, hoping to get some penetration out of it into the threads.

Any suggestions? I would really rather not strip out these screw heads.

You can also give it a bath in acetone followed by a blast with high air pressure in the screw holes. This will remove all the glue without compromizing the hardness of the metal parts. Don't forget to wear eye protection when using compressed air if you want to keep your eye site the way it is. Also be very careful as to what you adjust on that trigger so you do not end up with an unsafe trigger. You don't need to be a rocket scientist to understand how the trigger works, but if it's new to you, then study it a bit first. Good luck.

Thanks for all the help guys. I ended up doing a combination of things, including penetrating oil and heat to the screwhead (enough to heat it without changing the temper of the metal) but the final trick worked, and that was acetone. A drop would seep in after a bit and loosen the loctite enough to back them out and clean it all up.

I did notice that all the trigger adjustment guides out there seem to be around the 3 adjustment screw 40X trigger, and not the one with 4 screws. Does anyone have a guide for proper adjustment with the trigger containing 4 screws?

Thanks!
