I have been trying to send PM’s for the last few days since I have joined The Hide and I am not able to do so. Does anyone know a fix for this issue? Thanks!

You apparently have to make three approved posts before you can start a conversation with anyone.
I was told you need to make three moderator approved posts before you’re allowed to start a conversation.
Just made an account to buy a scope. Going to be BS if I lose it to somebody because if this spam detector.
I originally had set up this account to snag something on the buy/sell forum as well, so hopefully the wait is not too long. I understand the nudge to start building community first though
You all need to stop worrying about PMs and just become part of the SH community. Read and post and be part of it. These new rules are here to make the site less scammer prone. Stop worrying about them.
However there is an expectation this forum will work like all the other forums out there. So when very common features are missing, like in this case, and there’s no explanation or hint that the feature exists upon satisfying some rule; it creates confusion like you see here in this thread. This is how the site wants to handle it I guess…
Yea this is how it’s getting handled. Seeing as you have been here only a few days and have no idea the scammer issue we had and why this was put in place how about your sit back and read it and take it for what it is and not be a wise ass as you can be shown the door as fast as you came in.
@Lowlight is the site owner. Maybe you want to tell him how he should run his site. I’ll sit back and see how that goes. lol
