Does anyone know how (or can point me to a set of instructions on how) to replace the indexer on a Dillon XL650 press? It was a damned good thing I ordered a spare parts kit that came in today since, while getting the machine up and running again after a ~5 year hiatus, the indexer broke. My Google-fu must be especially weak since I can't find a single video/support document from Dillon on how to change that part and given the number of spring-loaded parts on that machine, I can see things turning out very badly if I just started unscrewing things to get at the broken bits...

You might try giving the Dillon tech support a call. They could probably walk you through it.

Is the indexer the plastic angled piece that rotates around the main shaft, under the platform?

Yep, that's the part. I looked in the manual and found an exploded diagram so I was able to get the shellplate disassembled and the old indexer out but when I tried to put the new one in, the pin on the indexer where the return spring attaches broke so I'll be on the horn with Dillon again tomorrow to get another indexer on the way, grrrr....
