Rifle Scopes Disadvantages to Fixed Parallax..

I am noob, and I did not want to hijack the IOR post. What are the advantages/disadvantages to having a fixed Parallax scope?

Here's a tutorial for ya. It was written specifically about Leupold scope adjustments but it will answer your question thoroughly.
