Disassembly a bolt action with glass bedding?

I took the action and barrel off the stock from my brand new "browning x bolt carbon fiber suppressor ready" yesterday for cleaning. Haven't shoot the rifle since purchased on January. After unscrewed the two screws on the butt, I tried to pulled the action and barrel up carefully. But certainly it's stuck and I have to put a bit more force to take it off from the stock. After taking it off, I can see the glass bedding on the stock. I'm feeling no release agent was applied on the bedding which bonds the receiver and bedding surface together. I've read a few posts online saying do not take action and barrel off the stock if it's glass bedded. So now I'm start to worry if i may damage my rifle bedding which would affect its accuracy? Also, do i need to apply release agent to the bedding surface now?

BTW, anyone have any idea about the torque of the two screws on the action? I used ~20 in/lb to unscrew them, which seems kinda low to me as this is a composite stock with carbon fiber dip surface.

Thanks a lot!

So its stuck and you cant take it out but you have also taken it out? What?

You can take a barreled action out of a traditionally bedded stock no problem. Just dont chip all the bedding up doing so.

Release agent is only for use while the bedding compound is uncured, once its cured its not going to stick anymore. To coat it now on cured compound would just make a mess and nothing else.

Yea, I know I was stupid, but just wasn't aware of this :( The bedding still looks good to me, no visible damage, but i'm still concerning. Basically all barreled action in bolt-action rifle are supposed to be able to be take out, right? Otherwise how do people change trigger, add stud/butt rails. But I'm wondering how could my x-bolt be bonded with the bedding material the first time I took it off, is this sth expected? Or what's wrong here

A properly done epoxy bedding job will make it difficult, but not impossible, to remove the action from the stock.

Your stock was bedded properly. If release agent had not been applied by Miroku (that's who actually made your rifle, Browning doesn't actually mfg anything) you would not have been able to remove the stock without destroying it as the action would have been bonded virtually permanently to it.

I see. So since I already successfully removed the stock and I'm assuming it would not be difficult to remove it again in the future? Any down side of this?

Once you do it once it gets a little bit easier, but don't disassemble the rifle to that extent unless there's a really good reason.

It’s form fitted, it’s tight. I squeeze the barrel down on the end of the stock a bit and that seems to pop the rear up and then it kind of scuttles back and forth up and out. That is on a flat bottomed action.
