This has been done before, but here's my effort. Posted in the DIY section, but figured I add it here.
I ground down the knob on the handle with a few grooves for grip. Globbed on the JB Steel Stik and sanded when it started getting firm.
Once is was cured, I blued the part of that was still exposed. Instead of paint, I used Tool-Dip for a grippy surface. I think I will applying Tool-Tip to all of my bolt handles now.
