For a hunting rifle what products would you use for a DIY spongeaflage camo job?.
The existing base color on the stock is Olive Drab and the barrel is bead blasted stainless.
Reciever and othet parts are black stock finish.
No krylon!, Cerakote or comparable products that can be done at home!
Thanks!

I just got my build back from WTO and cannot be more pleased with it!, the Bead blasted stainless Bartlein Marksman is perfect!.
I would not dream of srewing it up with any color at all. The A-3G stock is a standard OD and begs for a color scheme and pattern that compliments the stainless barrel and FN PBR reciever and BM . Suggestions are welcome and although this is a hunting build Urban camo might be my first choice along with a little bronze and ?

No Crylon damn it !

High speed low drag, on the wallet anyway.

Got it.
Enough money left for a pound of varget.

Aervoe spray paint is way more durable that Krylon, cheap and easy to find the colors you want for your area. Local vegetation for stencils or cut your own in some file folders. It's a cheaper DIY option and does not require any special tools or methods to apply. You can touch up as needed or change colors to adjust for seasons or areas.
