So it seems this is king of the OTF knives and they are rare, but can anyone tell me why? If they are so good why are they no longer made? I see prices from 1000-9000 thats a huge range.

Id love to own one, but if i find one can i even carry it or is it one of those things that nees to be put in a safe and taken out to dust once a month.
