Never hear of it, Suspect Russia or China source. Without a writeup by someone accepted by that community and without having an interest in it is absolutely necessary to even have it considered. 5000 meters to a barn, train, what. Means nothing.
They do give the specs on range, just in far more technical terms: "*For targets of angular size of 1,5×1,5 mrad, diffuse reflectance ≥ 0,3 at MDV ≥ 10 km" (No, I'm not sure how to define that in terms of real world objects . . . ).
So the target size is 1.5 mil square depending on the reflectance at a given distance.
Does look like Russian gear but they've come a long way in 20 years. Newcon Optik is another that sells stuff like this.
When it comes to these kinds of companies I generally tend to view their lower price items as a bit junky but their higher end stuff is generally on par with the rest of the industry. The prices for the best stuff, the highest tech stuff, has generally run about $1 per meter, but some go higher than that if they merge or incorporate newer technologies.
