Re: Do I need an adapter to mount a bipod on an SPR?
Loosen the thumb screw on the harris more. Push the 2 gripping arms up through the hole in the mounting plate so you can splay them apart enough to fit around the bipod stud. Then tighten the thumb screw. It should pull the stud down into the hole and tighten the mounting plate against the stock.

D'oh! Thanks. Still a little loose but I will try and get it tighter in the morning. I can tell already the Harris isn't going to be the equal of the AI bipod.
