Do you think anybody will have the balls to investigate who is paying for these hired guns & if they have proper licenses to be toting guns around one of the most Anti cities in the USA?

Then if they do... who approved the licenses, NYC is not a "Must Issue" area...

The Hogg doesn't have the scratch or pull for this, so it has to lead directly back to whoever is paying.

Also it would make a nice bit of publicity if some of our Gun rights groups start bringing up photos & details of it next time he shows up to make one of his vile "speeches" or "interviews".

Perhaps a hidden camera crew could get some teens to approach him to talk at a rapid rate & get his "guards" to fondle their weapons... totally blow him out of the water.

Depends on the state... but generally no.

Most states security guards have no more LEO powers than you or me....their only authority is how much they can scare you with their plastic badge.

Other states they are deputized as “special police”.... and do have SOME police powers.....

I do not believe that applies to NFA weapons however

What about Blackwater? I know they had some gear including a pallet of .50 BMG RAUFOSS and that was at their training facility. I'm sure there are some others that get exceptions, but generally body guards don't.

Most of the body guards I knew had to get a CC license on their own and a background check by their employer, then they either brought their own weapon, or were issued (usually a 60yo Smith Model 10) by their employer. So I'd assume they were able to get NY permits if only for their visit. Or maybe they were forced to just carry pepper spray in NY. Who knows?

But yeah, now this motherfucker feels his life is important and needs to be protected, but that the rest of us can just go fuck off.

Although they did get fined for shipping wrong container of weapons overseas. They shipped container with serial numbers that had not been approved for exportation yet by DDTC.

In Pa and New Jersey the ability to carry as security falls under Act 235 ( armed
security ) . Ny Ny has similar certification for armed security . Ny and NJ require
Firearm permit. , Security Certification , and roughly forty plus hour armed security traing and certification . All three have requali8fication standards . My experience that most Executive security is not Gecko45 and significant numbers were ptevious law enforcemenf or military . They are working to maintain defensible space and hold an imaginary line . Wether their charge is a douche bag or a real pornstar worth mentioning they are just doing a job . They arent' there to conversate , be your buddy or do anything but maintain space and appear intimidating if not serious as a heart attack . No one in that position wants to throw down with a crowd they want to prevent that . Just like anyone who is charged with carrying a firearm for employment that is the absolute last thing in the arsenal . Armed security goes to jail at the speed of light for fuckin up because they are not police and not FOP .
Yeah there is a small percentage of armed security guards ( not executive protwction ) that get thru the cracks that are miasing chromosomes, but they rarely

Do you recall early in the Primaries when Trump had his own security? Those were all retired NYC Police. If someone cares enough to hire the best they will be retired from a job that has the legal perk of allowing you to carry a firearm in retirement.
