Does anyone know the damn Sako TRG torque specs????

Anyone know what the action torque specs are on a TRG22? I guess if I can’t find anything I’m going to go with 62 inch pounds and call it good.

They aren't even torqued at the factory. Just "very snug by hand" per Beretta. That being said, 50-65 in/lbs. is plenty for the action screws on a TRG-22/42. A little Loctite 242, good to go.

?? WOW! Super scientific! Hand tight and good to go. I’ve found some rifles like pretty specific settings. Just do it like I do my Tikkas I guess.

I downloaded that from searching Google for "Sako trg22 torque specs" but it's slow to open all pages on my phone. I can see the first few pages and the. A couple are blank then page 7 but from what it says in the list that the reciever bit is on page 16. Ive uploaded the file from my phone, hopefully if might have something in it of use.

I guess they didn't want the buttstock to come off so they suggested 133 inch pounds LoL

Hahaha, it happens. Seriously though, I run 65 in/lbs. on a TRG-22 for over 12 years and it was no safe queen either. Never a single problem from it, and I had it apart multiple times throughout.

That’s exactly what I run on my Tikkas. Never an issue.

Late to the party, but there is no official spec, but 65in/lbs for metal trigger guard, and 35in/lbs for plastic trigger guard model is used by Beretta Australia.

KRG did an in-depth assessment of the TRG22 a few years ago. I read it the other day but never saw any torque specs. I was wondering if they had a good suggestion since they took the time for the review and sell some parts for that model.

KRG W3 instruction manual for TRG has a torque spec in it. I follow that with the factory spine or the W3 spine. It says 65in-lb but accuracy may be better with less. I run 60. Shoots good.
