I posted on this in the other thread.

I personally would not let that bother me. Looks as if they did an ok job on the paint. If it's Krylon you can get it off pretty easy (just keep the stripping agent off the lenses) and it would look fine. I just think that if you are selling, keep in mind that many guys do care and price accordingly as there are fewer that share my thoughts on it and more that will shy away. Like I said before...looks have little to do with performance, but....
it is all personal!

Would I let a little paint on a scope keep me from a good deal?...No, but that's just me. See if you can contact the guy and find out more details.
