Dog with the SEAL teams

Re: Dog with the SEAL teams

I had a law school instructor that was a public defender in Davidson County, TN. She would represent anyone "unless they were mean to a dog."

There is a lot to that.

Re: Dog with the SEAL teams

They are called "America's forgotten heroes" for a reason. I feel proud everyday to be one of the extremely small percentage of individuals to call myself a Military Working Dog Handler in the United States Marine Corps. (Compared to all other MOS's, we are a very small tight knit group.

Couldn't ask for a better job!

And as a side note: There are more dogs working with more teams of everything than people think. They are everywhere. Just takes one single dog team to secure an entire patrol. MWD's are nothing new; They are just not in the spotlight very much.

Re: Dog with the SEAL teams

Had the wonderful opportunity to work in an E&E exercise with the security detail at MCAS El Toro (just before it was closed). If you've never been on the "receiving end" in that type of situation it brings things into perspective VERY quickly!
I have the greatest respect and am envious for your jobs, thank you for a job well done!
