Careful now.I remember when I was a kid this was big stuff. I am to young to have seen Evel jump but I remember watching Robbie several times on TV.
The crazy thing to me was they didn't use a speedometer. It seems like that would take a lot of the guess work out of the equation.
Sucks to be short.
Yeah, i watch them do wild shit. I have work tomarrow to pay the bills. Ill still hit some nice air and what not but if i tear an acl or break a leg there is no saftey net lol. Gotta be responsible and leave the knar to the kids.Use to watch the Evil's of the world, back in the day and was aww struck. Raced m.x. and desert, did my fair share of "air time", but, not a way in hell, would I ever attempt, the crazy shit they do now. Mac
Raced big bore 500cc two-strokes (CR500's). I was a big guy(220-230) at the time, so, 125's and 250's, weren't going to do it for me back then.Still ride a two stroke though, that allready puts riding in a different class lol
Agreed, but…That sucks, sorry for his family.

I have a 1970's yamaha 185 2 stroke desert race bike. In most respects it is a little dated. But the quick change wheel system on it is still the best ive ever seen. It’s much different today as as could be expected.
gear and tech is sooooo much better that what was impossible is now for kids on 125’s
put most of the new “daredevils” on a 1972 triumph and see what happens.
No suspension, slow, weighs a ton.
Jump 3-4 garbage cans and it’s gravity bending feat.
