Douglas MK12 Mod0 barrel twist check?

Has anyone that has a Douglas MK12 Mod0 1/7 twist checked the twist rate with a cleaning rod to make sure it is a 1/7

my barrel is marked 1/7 and I checked, my gunsmith checked it and both came up with 1/8

sent it back to the company who built it and they sent the barrel back to the barrel manufacture and they said it was a 1/7

They said you can not do an accurate check using cleaning rod and patch method. Not sure how they checked it

just wondering if anyone else has had this happen

When I was talking to Berger about which bullets to shoot, the had me check my barrel using the cleaning rod method, but they had me use a brush instead of a patch. It worked just fine to figure out why their bullets were hitting my brake upon exit. Previous owner told me it was a 10 twist. It wasn't......
