Kenny has been burning the midnight oil….., just got permission to post these.

Looking good. Can’t wait to test the first full prototype very soon.

The programming is set and just a few finishing touches to go. Start saving those pennies.

That doesn't make it a good thing. I'm not interested in paying what will likely be >$1k for a Remington 700-footprint CZ 457 action.
The handle is one of the locking lugs but not the only. Thiers a unique feature which will be mentioned upon release.

Nothing wrong with an Anchutz style system. Proven over the years. No need to over complicate what works nor do you need to worry about compromise in metal quality or outsource work to cut cost like others do...

Everything is made in the same facility, 🇺🇸 by small buisness

Early fall, or after my 44 affected Gouge-X clients get their replacement builds with these. I've been working 15+ hour days optimizing machining, making check gauges and having a assembly process for a single operation to make these. Also invested in a new DNX 2100 machine. Wire EDM machine burning extractors

Material stock piling. Barrels waiting for a good 22lr action.

I ain't twiddling my thumbs any longer relying of other manufacturers.. I am THE manufacturer

About time an actual manufacturer engages with us and responds to the customers. Just saying!

Any chance that your current CZ customers will get a faster turn around time than 12 months? I appreciate what you are doing, but it looks like my $1800 is working capital for your new venture.

I'll always put you guys priority. Yall can switch if you like, its your investment. Plans are to have these ready to ship as barreled actions when I release. I don't want any more lead times, preorders ect. Much of the leadtime I have was contributed to manufacturers exceeding thier promise fulfillment dates hence starting a chain effect. Making my own products and focusing on just that product perfection will lower lead times or eliminate them. I don't want to worry about accessories. Our sister company DP Cerakote will take over and start stocking chassis, triggers, ect.

Yall are awesome and entrusted me to build your rifles. If it wasn't for yall, we wouldn't be where we are at and continuing to improve.

An email campaign will be sent out nearing release. An early order form to verify previous orders through our FFL and invoice system (made to many rifles to keep track lol) this will give a significant discount and opportunity to get the first available.

We have our sponsored shooters that will throughly test these before release. Given each one unique abilities and location, their blessings will help determine the release date or changes to be made. As of right now, I'm one month ahead of schedule and didn't anticipate having the action bodys already in pre production. These are straight off the CNC before heat treatment and DLC coating. FB accusations are going nuts over "tooling marks and burs" lol. Certifiable machinist among many behind the keyboard

The video I posted was a testimony of its smoothness right off the cnc without deburing process and DLC, which only make it better

I've already re verifed fitment and compatibility with the top trigger manufacturers, chassis, bottom metals and AICS 22lr mags

    12 months !?
Man, few things in life are worth a 12 month wait… or maybe I’m impatient and don’t know what I’m missing.

There are so many reasons why I will not need one of these.
What’s one more bad decision, right?
I’m looking forward to what you’re cooking, Kenny.
I don’t need one either, I probably don’t need one of LI3’s barreled actions, and I probably didn’t need the 5 Vudoo’s I’ve owned and sold or the 2 RimX I currently own, or the 40X I have ordered with PTG…the weird thing is I’m still pretty sure I don’t have a problem but the wife thinks I do.

I've traded my hobby and what I thought was expensive tools (prs shooting) competition.... I've been dragged into buying machinery and not doing much shooting lately. Good thing is we'll be more involved at matches and events and be happy to give away rifles.
We are giving away custom CZ457 rifle for this match from todays canceled build.

    Itll look like this

Sweet build. Assuming anyone who cancels loses their place in line for the new actions?

Thanks for the refund! I appreciate you taking the initiative to do that based off of my question above. Whoever gets that rifle above (whenever it is ready!) is going to be lucky.

Edited to share a short funny video to make everyone smile a little. With all the craziness going on in this world, who doesn’t deserve a smile!

That is AWESOME!!! I would love to see you at one of our NRL/PRS rimfire matches and also I can not wait to get my my hands on one of your builds!!

I’m sure the new action will be incredible, and can’t wait to get one. I am the proud owner of 3 DPG rifles, a V22 with a muller works barrel, a V360 with a DPG barrel that came very close to setting a new 20 shot record at the Mesa test tunnel, and just got an incredible looking C457 for my daughter which as you can see below put out some awesome first groups today in a light 3 to 5 mile wind off of an atlas bipod and schmedium rear bag.

I've been sitting in the bleachers on this one and after watching how Kenny and others speaking on behalf of what he's doing is handling things, I'm quite impressed. The work that Kenny is putting into his action, and the reason's he's doing it, is admirable and I'm rooting for his company. Its guys and companies like this that are the future of our community.

Also, I'll address something that I likely don't have to, but to the comments (on FB) regarding burrs and machine marks, I get it. Been there myself and been through this process more than I can count, but it's completely normal to remove non production validated parts during the initial phases of production to see how they're working and there's excitement to share associated with the process.
Rock on, Kenny, I'm pulling for you.

Not sure if I missed it. What's the plan for scope bases? I see you have the MDT on this one.

Are you machining your own and will they be offered in different MOA? Screwed/pinned?

Or will the action use aftermarket clamp bases ? Will one of choice come with action?

    Hey Dom!

Its got a 11mm Dovetail that gives folks the many options to choose thier favorite CZ457 scope base

    1000002173.jpg

I prefer the MDT bases to keep the scope to bore axis low. Configured with a 30 MOA MDT scope base, it's only 0.075" higher than the other 700 clones
When this goes live, we'll have the option to choose.

The 11mm dovetail was chosen also because of the request from Chris Cawthrone from NASSA (North American Silhouette Shooting Association) and the community there needing an alternative small bore silhouette rifle. Where weight matters, the preference is 11mm scope rings. This also aids for those looking to setup a rimfire hunting rig as this action can accommodate 17 HMR/ 22 WSM

The screws on top are for a project working on to manufacturer my own stainless steel extended scope bases that not only clamp onto the dovetail, but also 8-40 screw down into the action, aiding for rigidity as these PRS rifles become heavier. Tendencies to pick up the rifle with the scope housing are common. My first choice was to integrate the rail into the action, however, this inhibits the ability to make these action bodies all in 1 operation. Keeping the action in tolerance with my machines ability. I would have to reset up the action multiple times to cut those rails, further tolerance stacking as well as start with larger stock material, further driving cost up and machine time.

Im open to any suggestions, hence why im conversing on this form. Cut me some slack on the commercial account thing, hold me to it when I actually have a product to promote and sell here. Im contributing what I can until then. I can use a little more in my pocket if I keep friction welding my endmills because I forgot to turn on the coolant
