I had been looking for a 1X8 twist for bench shooting at the range out to 600 yards, and shooting coyotes from a fixed position. I came across this upper on a black friday sale and bought it on impulse for 500$. Does anyone have any experience shooting this barrel? I put it on a lower, mounted a viper vortex pst, bore sighted, and put in rifle case. Weather has not cooperated for a range trip yet. Highs have been in single digits with double digit wind speeds and below zero wind chill. I am dying to get some range time to see how it shoots. Any feed back would be welcome. I have some 69 grain hand loads to test after I get the scope zeroed. Complete rifle with bipod weighs 11 pounds
