DPMS 260

Re: DPMS 260

You don't/ won't like the .260 compared to the mighty .308. The .260 is garbage sell it to me and let me wallow in my garbage.

Re: DPMS 260

I have exact same upper.

123 Amax seated to 2.800 +/- 0.002" (mag length)
45.4gr IMR4350
Win 243 Brass necked up, trimmed, chamfered, etc.
CCI Large Rifle Primers

This is a very stout load, back it down to 44.0gr and work up in 0.3gr increments. As I mentioned recently it's a consistently sub MOA shooter.

My next detailed load development is going to be 130 JLK's and H4350

This is a hot load in an AR. Please work your way up to it. It works great in my GAP 260 AR however it ruins the brass.

Re: DPMS 260

I neck 243 to 260 in one step and I use my Hornady 6.5-06 neck sizer die to do it. It has a tapered expander ball instead of the stepped sizing ball that's in the Redding dies.
