I am new to working with JPs adjustable trigger, and hope for it to be the blame for the trigger creep. Has anyone experienced this with one of their triggers? I think I am following their instructions, but the resulting creep seems to be too much. My install method mimicked that of their instructions, any tips? Thanks

Re: DPMS SASS JP trigger help

I have 3 of there triggers in my AR15s and dont have any creep on my trigger, witch trigger did you get, theres diffrent styles that they sell there orignal and there EZ trigger, I myself like the orignal better, it has 2 seperate screws for take up and over travel, one big part with the orignal trigger is you have to sand a little of the disconnector off to time it right if you dont want any creep, then you need to sand the rear of the trigger off so it can be put on safe or the best way is to just buy there adjustable safty lever.

Re: DPMS SASS JP trigger help

I have the original. What was your method of setting the set screws? I have searched the web for more detailed instructions, but failed to find anything. I have done many of the "15 min trigger job" as well as eliminating creep buy using the set screw method within the grip, I was hoping I would find better results from this trigger.

Re: DPMS SASS JP trigger help

tighten the front allen and back it off 1/4 turn then pull the tirgger till the hammer drops then go another 1/4 to 1/2 turn depending on how you like it, then put the rear allen in tighten it till the hammer falls, then back it off 3/4 of a turn. at that point the dissconector will probably hand up, you need to sand it till it clears.

videos from JPs site to show you how to set it up video 2 should help you out a lot
