I have a DPMS LR308, what is the best forward grip for that rifle to turning it into a long distance precision rifle?

Assuming you're referring to the forend/hand guard, not a vertical forward grip.

I use an Odin Works forend on my DPMS pattern AR10. It's light, free floating, flat on the bottom and well-ventilated.

Which model and how wide is the flat on the bottom?

I'm currently using the Odin 15.5" mlok. Not the Lite version
The bottom flat section is as wide as a Pic rail.
