Has anyone ever cut the barrel down on one of these and if so what were the results. Am thinking of getting one for pig hunting in the swamp and would like a shorter barrel if it works well enough. Thanks. MM

if you telling a PSL or SVD ? both have chromed lined barrel ...its a can of worms to cut them [any chrome lined barrel] if you start to chip/crack the chrome lining the barrel is done for ,RIP !!pull the barrel time -i know mike of coastal gun works[http://coastalgunworks.com/]he maybe help you ! maybe a new shorter barrel ???
