Does anyone know of a way to drop the toe of the buttstock on an AR-15 that has a 6-position stock on it? I got an AR for my wife so that I can train her and so that she would have her own rifle. Problem is that women in general have longer necks than men. She is having a tough time getting her cheek down on the stock without raising the butt pad up to where only the tip of the "toe" is touching her shoulder. This isn't a comfortable shooting position and it also causes the felt recoil to be higher since the recoil is focused on a point rather than spread across the whole butt pad.
I could add a cheek riser but then I'd also have to raise the sights.
I'm looking for an inexpensive solution. This is just a range training tool for the wife and isn't a "battle rifle". I'm not against DIY solutions. I was thinking about adapting a buttplate from something else like these from Brownells.

Thanks!
