I thought this looked like a pretty good deal based on what I've seen.

DS Arms is offering a Blackout ZM4 upper.

7075 T6 A3 M4 upper receiver

1:8 twist 16" carbine barrel

Check out Loki Weapon systems, you may like what you see. They have put a lot of research and testing into their platforms and I believe you would be getting a higher quality weapon from them. Just something to think about.

I'm doing a BLK, waiting on an SDN6 for it too. I understand it is a very finicky round, and for something like this I'd be sure to get one from someone that knows what they are doing with it and will disclose any limitations. At this point, I think I'm probably gonna go with AAC or Noveske for the barrel, but I haven't made up my mind. I prefer a good cut rifle barrel for accuracy, but for 300m, hey, those should do great. Pricey, but it may be worth it for function. I'm new to the calibre and just don't want to take any chances with reliability, even though there may be a lot of other good ones out there. I'll give Loki a look though, I haven't heard of them.

Loki Weapon Systems is an outstanding company! I already have one upper from them on my rifles and I'm working on a second. Service and craftmanship is excellent!
I'm currently working with them on a custom 300 Blackout upper that I'm stoked about. Erik offers a great product at a very good price.

I may have missed it but I didnt see where LOKI offered the 300 Black out in anything other than an SBR. Thats gonna add another $200 to the price. I just thought that DS Arms put an affordable deal out there with a 16" barrel.

I had a talk with mike from DS arms, i think it might be a good deal for beginning to get in to it, they guaranteeing moa but i cant find it on the websight??? if you have any questions i can give you his email. I am currently working on a 7.5 and a 5.5 300 black out pistol version using spikes tactical parts hope to have the 7.5 done this week coming, we going to use the gs info from it to attempt the 5.5. (I have no affiliation with Spikes Tactical, they just local and i can get straight from manufacture no price cuts

I'd be curious as to where your gas block ends up?
