Hallo,

I own a DTA SRS in .308 and I had serious problem with the firing pin. Often the cartridge would not be fired - only after I open the bulb an close it again - without reload. With matchgrade ammo I hat this problem in 1% with military ammo about 20%. This is the second rifle from DTA that has this problem. Exactly the same on both rifles. With my old Steyr Elite I shoot about 8000 round's with different ammo with NO problem.

Did anyone know this problem?

First, contact DTA about the issue and give them a chance to fix it.

I had this problem, and a replacement firing pin soled it. I gave them a call and had the replacement in less than a week, and it took less than 5 minutes to swap out.

I had the same problem with mine. Odds are your firing pin is not the problem, you need to disassemble the bolt, and adjust the set screw in (clockwise) that makes the push pin stick out so it catches the outer sliding sleeve in the L- shaped cut out. DTA told me they are now using loc-tite on that screw to prevent this.

Refer to your owners manual it shows you how to disassemble the bolt, and be careful there is a lot of spring pressure in the bolt. Parts will fly if your not careful!!!!
