Dual Bipod Studs

Do most folks use the furthest most front mount for the bipod and the second front mount for the sling, or does it make more sense to just use the furthest most stud for the bipod and then to use the stud build onto the bipod to attached the sling?

I am trying to use both separately, and it just doesn't seem like there is enough room, however i don't want to putt that added stress on the bipod by attaching the sling.

My VTR came with 2 studs. The way I understand it is that you should always use the most forward one for you bipod. However, my Harris wouldn't fit on the front one so I had to put it on the rear one.

Put the bipod on the front one. The idea is to put it forward of the sling so that it does not dig into you when you carry it around. Switching the order ensures that the bipod will DEFINITELY dig into you, and you would be better of just clipping the sling to the bipod directly.

Just seems like the two studs are too close to each other.

your putting the bipod on with the legs pointing down range when its folded up right?

haha yes... The sling mount just rubs up against the bipod, not a big deal.

Studs on my ADL Varmint are too close, so I use the rear one. I prefer to sling on the side anyhow, so I epoxied in a stud at 10:00.
